Along with seeing all sorts of wonderful places, one of the best things about being a Tour Leader and PTC is meeting all sorts of wonderful people. Many of my guests and clients fall into the “senior” bracket – and thus they are people with life experience, wisdom, well-rounded opinions and a true sense of who they are. Most are well-travelled and conversation always flows easily. I have clients with special needs and various health issues, and I’m here to assist them. I love meeting and chatting with people, especially in gorgeous settings far away from our homes! People are my battery!

“I received a lot of praise for doing this trip at 95 years old. There were two busloads of us and I was the oldest in the group. I could not have done it without the help of my wonderful Personal Travel Companion Leigh. I am slow, I use a walker, and I am hard of hearing – even with hearing aids. But Leigh was always patient and kind. She looked after me as a mother would have done. On some days we had to pay for our lunch so to simplify things I gave her my card and pin. Each time she returned my card and receipt – she was completely trustworthy. She was an expert at finding out things we needed to know via her cell phone – all way beyond me, I have a simple phone. I enjoyed being with Leigh and we got on famously. From her remarks, the feelings were mutual. I didn’t take any photos but Leigh took lots. Ten days after I got home I received from her a lovely book of photos of the trip. I would go away again with her with the greatest pleasure.
