About Corinna
Kia Ora and Hallo, I’m Corinna.
After 40 years living in New Zealand, I feel like a Kiwi. Born and bred in Germany, I’m still the excited traveller who fell in love with New Zealand – its nature, its culture and its people.
Here I’ve learned about bi-culturalism and the importance of protecting our natural world. I also discovered my innate passion to offer services that can make a difference for people.
As a semi-retired psychotherapist, I’m well attuned to my clients’ needs, forever curious about their life stories and dedicated to supporting their goals and aspirations.
Clients have described me as warm and friendly, non-judgemental, easy to communicate with and well-organised.
Travelling around the world has always been part of my lifestyle, connecting me with family and friends. Having studied at art school in Hamburg, I naturally feel drawn to museums and galleries. Special memories connect me with Italy, where my family enjoyed a different kind of lifestyle in our holiday home at the Lago Maggiore. Nowadays there are also family members and grandchildren in Australia.
In Aotearoa I value living close to nature. Together with my German partner, a photographer and author, I manage a lifestyle block according to permaculture ideas. Surrounded by beautiful nature, I enjoy community choir, keeping fit and reading books.
Throughout my life I have had very strong role models for ageing well, including my grandmother with whom I grew up.
My approach to travel: safety first and adventures can follow. I truly believe that with the right support it is never too late for new experiences and friendships.
